Rohan Barclay Testimonial

Rohan generously provided this testimonial. He is a reader of Grace's book and former personal training client.

I have known Grace McClure since 2006 when I became one of her personal training clients. Personal training with Grace wasn’t just getting fitter- working out enabled me to think more positively and a belief that regardless of life’s challenges anything can happen and dreams/ambitions achieved. I was fortunate she took me on as a client, offered to be my friend in a period of my life where I was dealing with some serious medical/ personal issues and was involved in a serious car accident. Once told of the accident, Grace offered to see if she could help in anyway once she found out of what occurred. I found this to be act to be of a genuine person wanting to help me, going above and beyond what I would have expected from someone who trains me, something out you rarely see in the world today and have not forgotten. We have remained friends and stay in contact.

I have just finished reading Grace’s first publication titled You Are a Wonderful Mother. As someone who rarely reads more than the daily newspaper,  I feel the book would have an appeal to almost anyone and found the reading great, it was hard for me to stop reading the book once I started hence read about a third of the book in one day. I loved reading the experiences and learning more about a remarkable person whose life has had its ups and downs but also learning from these to improve themselves and people they come into contact with and living their dreams/ ambitions. I found the book provides some advice of which anyone can apply to their lives, having a positive attitude, surrounding yourself with people that bring positive vibes, the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, anything can be achieved in life with the right thinking and motivation.. It also shows the importance of family and close friends through the not so good times.

Reading this book has reinforced many thoughts/ opinions on Grace and the impact she has had on my life the importance of eating well and exercise is something I have always maintained. Reading the book also reaffirmed many challenges I wish to still conquer and importantly looking after yourself and surrounding yourself with a close circle of friends and in relationships which are going to be healthy ones which is happening continuously

I have now fulfilled some of these dreams. Having that extra confidence & belief I gained from training with Grace I was able to venture out in the big world and look for someone to share my life which resulted in marrying my now wife Donna and having a daughter Rebecca.. I can with all my heart say that I feel very privileged to have known Grace and be a friend of hers.
