I am a passionate supporter of ‘TLC for Kids’ and have worked directly their founder and CEO Tim Conolan since 2006. This involvement includes:

  • Ambassador role
  • Organizing and planning events
  • Organizing a celebrity hospital visit for sick kids
  • Hospital visits to deliver requests to kids and families
  • Being MC for their annual ball
  • Donating funds

Tim and I were the very first participants in the ‘TLC for Kids Marawalk’ (a marathon walking) four years ago. Each year I have been involved in the planning, fundraising and delivering of the event. It has grown from Tim and I walking and raising over $32 000 the first year, to over seventy participants who together, last year raised over $60 000.

My book, “You are a Wonderful Mother,” has directly donated $2475 to ‘TLC for Kids’.

Testimonial: Tim Conolan, Founder TLC for Kids

“I have known Grace for over 6 years now. I was looking for a personal trainer to help me get into shape to achieve my first Run for Kids 15km fun run. Over the months leading up to the event, not only did Grace provide exceptional training and coaching, she also became a close personal friend.
Taking into account Grace’s ethics, moral standings, genuine care for people and family values, Grace was invited to become an official Ambassador of TLC for kids. In this role, Grace has continued to be a very strong and dedicated advocate for our cause, helping increase our network and raise much needed funds to help sick children.

I am truly grateful to be able to call Grace a friend and if you have the opportunity to work with her, be it personal training or motivational speaking, or in any other capacity, I highly recommend her.”

I first participated and helped World Vision as an eleven year old girl, raising funds and participating in their forty-hour famine. I have sponsored a child through World Vision for over eight years.  For my first half-ironman triathlon in 2005, one of my clients, Harness Racing Victoria, generously offered to donate $10 000 to World Vision when I finished the 1.9km swim, 90km cycle and 21km.  I was also their ambassador for Bert Newton’s GMA breakfast television.

I currently present on TV and radio for CanToo. I became involved with the inspirational team at CanToo in 2008 when I participated as a runner, fundraiser and presented their television commercials. In October 2012, I was their MC for their ‘raising ten million dollars’ party at Fenix Restaurant, Melbourne.

In 2013, I loved being part of the All-girl team for a four day, 800+km cycle from Mansfield Victoria to Port Macquarie NSW, raising funds for the Kids Foundation.
