Grace McClure
Originally from an outback cattle station near Broken Hill in NSW, Grace McClure is a now a well-known public figure, becoming a credentialed media personality in that time. She has moved from modelling to successful presenting on television, radio as an MC and motivational speaker.
Grace is a familiar face to television viewers, in the past co-hosting live, Network Ten’s RPM and Channel Nine’s The Boat Show with Glenn Ridge. She also fronted Inside Sport TV and frequented as a guest on Bert Newton’s GMA.
Grace headed up the successful 2007 Sport 927 Spring Racing Carnival Radio promotion with the station saying it was,
“by far the most successful SRC promotion we’ve conducted in years. Grace’s level of professionalism was faultless and her enthusiasm was a breath of fresh air.”
McClure keeps the pace offset pursuing her passion for fitness and triathlons including finishing four Ironman Triathlons (3.8km swim, 180km bike, 42km run). Having competed internationally at a range of events, Grace qualified for the World Championship 70.3 Florida Clearwater event in 2007. Her list of sponsors has included Nike and Giant Bikes who have benefited through aligning themselves with Grace and the unique qualities she possesses.
Mother to eleven month old daughter Amelia (Cosy), nine-year old son Billy, and partner to John Stevens, Grace prioritizes family and embodies a healthy, fit and enjoyable lifestyle. She has faced many challenges in her personal life, many of these now creating great material for her motivational presentations. She is a fully qualified personal trainer and practitioner in natural mind/body medicine.
Her media exploits also cover writing, with Grace a regular writer for Ultra-Fit Magazine and having contributed to The Age.
Grace is also well known at home and abroad for her work as a model. Regularly featuring in advertising campaigns for major international brands. Grace has since taken a step back from her swimsuit modeling years when she was named Inside Sport’s Model of the Year and Ralph’s Sexiest Woman in Australia and New Zealand in 2001. She was also the "Face of Foster’s for the 2003 Australian Formula One Grand Prix."
Her personal website, gracemcclure.com.au, has attracted a large audience, growing from over four million hits in the first few months. The versatile media personality has continued to feature regularly as an MC at major events including MC at the International Media Launch for the Grand Prix, Ford Live Event and her work at key functions during AFL Grand Final Week over the past few seasons. Grace also continues to act as an ambassador for a range of causes and events.
